Piraeus - Athens City Tour & Acropolis

A short drive will take you to Athens and to the Acropolis, which has been dominating the scene of this historical city for over 25 centuries now. After the uphill walk to the Acropolis you will see the Propylaia, Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. Free time will be given during the visit to enjoy the extraordinary view all over Athens.

The tour continues with a panoramic city tour and you will pass by the Olympieion (the Temple of Olympian Zeus) and Hadrian’s Arch. At Syntagma Square, you will see the formal Royal Palace of Otto I, the today’s Parliament. The famous Monument of the Unknown Soldier is situated in front of it, continuously kept under guard by two soldiers. In continuation of the tour, you will pass the neoclassical buildings of the University, Academy and Library before arriving at the Stadium, which was rebuilt in 1896, based on its original plan for the modern Olympic Games.

Return afterwards to Piraeus port and the ship.
