Piraeus Archaeological Museum
General: An exhibition of 10 rooms in 2 levels covering mainly the Mycenaean and Roman era with items found in Piraeus and the surrounding area. The museum suggests articles from the ancient cemetery of the city and from the shipwreck of a Roman ship found in Piraeus port.
In addition someone can admire the foundings from the holy temples of Mounichia and Mother of Gods.
For those who do not wish to leave the area of Piraeus and go to Athens this is an interesting and educational proposal.
