Marina Zea is one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean sea , always hosting impressive and luxury yachts during the whole year.
Marina Zeas is also one of the most interesting areas of
Piraeus . Often crowded day and night, since here one can find many restaurants and fish tavernas. It also offers intense nightlife with a variety of clubs and bars for those who wish to enjoy to be entertained till late in the night. A walk around the west end of the dock will give you the opportunity to a panoramic view of the Pasalimani gulf and its narrow entrance from the side of Kastella area.

Location: Marina Zea is situated on the west side of Piraeus port, 10km (6.2 miles) away from Athens.
How to get there [from Athens city centre]
Bus lines 040 and 049 run on a 24 hour basis with a frequency of 20 min. from 06:00 a.m. until 00:00 and for the rest of the night, every one hour. Line 040 departs from Syntagma square (city centre) and arrives to Piraeus port while and line 049 begins from Omonia square (city centre) and reaches also Piraeus port. From there you can arrive at Marina Zeas by using a taxi or by choosing to walk. The distance is quite short (less that 1 km).
Line 1 (Piraeus – Kifissia) departs from Athens and arrives in Piraeus. If you are moving in line 2 with Metro subway, you should necessarily change to line 1 in Omonoia to Piraeus. If you are moving in line 3 of metro, the change should be made in Monastiraki at Line 1 to Piraeus. From there, you can get Marina Zeas either by taxi or by foot walking (the distance between Piraeus port and Marina Zeas is approximately 1 km).
In case you don’t prefer using the public transportation means, you can use a taxi from Athens city centre in order to reach Marina Zeas. The transfer will last approximately 30 minutes according always to the traffic and it will cost 15-20 €.
